The Bad Connection indicator usually comes up when you're having general internet connection problems or when your browser times out. To fix this, we suggest either:

  1. Refreshing the page (for Mac: hold down "Command" key and press "R"; for Windows: hold down "Control" and "F5" keys at the same time.
  2. Restarting your browser
  3. Trying a new browser

If you're trying to apply for a job that does not match your Paddl Profile (by following a direct link to that job from another site like Facebook or CareerHub), you may receive a Bad Connection message. This is because Paddl works by filtering jobs that are relevant to you (currently determined by your course and campus location). This means, there will be opportunities you won't have access to as employers would have tagged their job campaigns to only display the opportunity to students with specific qualifications.
